What the operator says
The M/Y Solaris is a beautifully crafted yacht, great for Solo and family travellers. Every aspect of the yacht is tailored to create an inviting and first-class atmosphere for our guests. Enjoy the ample spaces to rest & relax, or have a nice drink at the outside bar. Some features of the Solaris: - Five main deck cabins dedicated for single use. - Single Cabin: 12 m². - Standard Cabin: 23 m². - Picture windows on all cabins. - Especially designed for first-class Galapagos cruising Tipping on Solarius: The 10% service charge is a standard inclusion in most tourism services in Ecuador. However, it is not included in our rates, as tips are optional. We provide a tipping guidelines: Solaris: Guide: USD 12-15 per day, per person Crew: USD 20-25 per day, per person On naturalist cruises, it is customary to tip the guide and crew separately. Gratuity amounts for the crew are higher, as our crew consists of a minimum of 9 members. Please consider these tipping guidelines as merely suggestions. All gratuities are at the personal discretion of the traveller, and the quality of service should be the primary determinant of the tip amount. Tipping is a voluntary practice, and your travellers should never feel uncomfortable about it. If the service is not found satisfactory, tips should reflect that. If the service is outstanding, tips could be more generous. Additionally, if a particular crew member stands out, travellers can give them an extra gratuity directly.
