What the operator says
My profession is a software developer at Siemens in Munich. My educational degree is a PhD in computer science. Last year I started acquiring official boating licenses. Before, I occasionally went sailing with friends. This year I rented a motor yacht (10 m) in Germany two times with friends for several days and I was the only person with a boating license. There I gained practical experience as a skipper. This took place on the German rivers and lakes in the Mecklenburg Lake District and in Berlin. In addition, this year I also rented a pure sailing boat (6 m) several times on the lakes near Munich for day trips. As I want to improve my skipper skills, I regularly study skipper and sailing books, and I plan to gain more practical experience in early 2025 before the holiday season starts. Privately I am also engaged in the traditional boxing club TSV München Ost as a trainer and department head. There I have the opportunity to deal with different kinds of people that come for training and I enjoy it a lot. As both of my parents come from Croatia (Senj, Vukovar) I regularly visit Croatia with my motorbike.
