Calypso is our newest and most sought-after boat of this size. Encompassing the finest signature features of the Fountaine Pajot shipyard, the Astréa 42 is based upon the highly popular design of the Saona 47, and her distinctive design, strong lines and timeless elegance under sail or at anchor. The Astréa 42 is expertly designed with voluminous living space and outstanding performance while remaining easy to handle. The expansive cockpit is intelligently designed for entertaining and features a spacious aft platform to easily facilitate a host of leisure activities. Immerse yourself in your spectacular surroundings on the foredeck?s huge sun lounge, or share in the cruising experience at the helm station as you unwind and enjoy the panoramic views of the stunning waters around you. Astrea 42 - Accommodations Sleek lines are complemented by a light and bright interior, courtesy of large panoramic portholes, that incorporate premium quality fixtures and finishes. Opening front windows and opening hatches in the cabins provide great ventilation. The main salon is large with a continuous and uninterrupted front windshield. The chart table faces forward adjacent to comfortable salon seating with a coffee table for social gatherings. The galley is adjacent to the cockpit, with a pass through serving counter. The large double refrigerator drawer system is aft with easy glide out access. Above the fridge is a large front loading freezer. Other features include a double sink, 3 burner stove top, microwave oven, and gas oven. All of the cabinets feature new, easy-opening latches and hardware and smart closing functionality. This Quatuor version comprises four double-berth cabins, and a single forward V-berth, four electric heads, and a large shared shower between each pair of heads.
