What the operator says
The Dufour 445 “Grand Large” is a sailboat that will take you far with a great sense of security. Regardless of the weather conditions, this is a boat that loves a breeze. It is the ideal vessel in our fleet for long crossings to the Scilly Islands, England, or Ireland, as well as for winter sailing. The Dufour 445 GL is equipped with an EPIRB beacon and the necessary equipment for offshore sailing (> 60 nautical miles). The flagship of the Loc Voile Armor fleet can accommodate up to 10 people in comfort and safety for long or very long journeys. The design of the Dufour 445 GL allows it to comfortably carry up to 10 crew members in a spacious and well-arranged sailboat for life at sea. Inside, discover four sumptuous double cabins (2 in the bow and 2 in the stern), meticulously designed to combine comfort and functionality. Its long galley and wide saloon provide a very comfortable living space on board. The Dufour 445 “Grand Large” is definitely seagoing. With its battened mainsail, roller-furling genoa, symmetrical spinnaker on a pole, and two storm sails on a removable stay (storm jib and solent), you will feel safe even if conditions worsen.
